I have 20/120 and 20150 controllers ordered. Just am,atter of them arriving. The latest news is that the controllers are still a couple weeks away(today I spoke w/BK). The board mfg was on holiday for 4 weeks, so they were unable to get the needed supplies! The Micro series controllers are a bit more expensive, but also have lower resistance and more programming options. Not that you would notice this a great deal in your application, though.
The 99 amp controller can handle surges up around 140 amps for short term (10 seconds). Power in = power out. The amp rating on the controller won't determine the amount of power that goes to the wheels. This is just what it is rated to handle. Cells, gearing etc. are the factors that determine speed/power.
