Mt's usually have more ground clearance in the center than they do at the front and rear, so it makes it easier to drive over stuff like rocks, curbs and other obstacles. Truggies, buggies and a lot of MT racing chassis's are flat underneath and can get stuck easier when driving over obstacles.
