Cool! Good to hear it worked for ya.
Those Venom packs will get hot though; they're fairly cheap cells and are only spot-welded together too, IIRC...so that alone will generate a lot of heat and resistance. Short of LiPo, some really decent quality NiMH packs with soldered cells will make quite a difference in performance and run cooler too.
