I can only imagine that at 7.2v (the max operating voltage according to the spec) they must produce some serious speed and power (and heat?).

I have run futaba 3050 servos at 6.5v and they do not even get hot, the performace is very good too.

I will have to try out a pair of these servos and see how they do. I need a few more steering servos for my buggy builds!
