I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can. Here is a picure of an OPTO Hacker controller (

Probably tomorrow I will send Artur my Hacker and the other ESC to see if he can swap MCUs. Sikeston, can you post the number on the driver and what that symbol is? Also, what is the part number on the MCU? It looks very much like a Silicon Labs.
