You should not have any trouble with it.
If you want to mount the motor closer to the center, you will have to make a spacer that will lift the rcm mount up to clear the rear center driveshaft. I did it to the hv tmaxx that I am building
here.
Should be a good project, my only issue would be battery mounting, but if you use a single pack it can go opposite the motor.
