Since I have actually only been involved in the hobby since Feb/05 I feel that I am still in the learning stage of my experience. I started with a stock EMaxx for my birthday and have evolved from there.
1) EMAXX totally UE SuperMaxx chassis & Pro ext suspension & aluminum 30-s wheel/roadrage 2 tires. all metal UE drivetrain with a 4.5 HV Maxx. (fun)
2) EMAXX mostly FLM chassis & ext suspension & aluminum 40-s wheels. All metal drivetrain with twin Dewalt 920 motors. (extremely fun)
3) EMAXX Hardcore chassis & Integy ext suspension. All metal drivetrain with 12 turn 550's for now. For one of my boys in August/08.
4) EMAXX Dynamite chassis & Integy ext suspension. All metal drivetrain planning to try the twin VXL setup to start with. For one of my boys in August/08.
All four of these vehicles are totally aluminum, steel & titanium with no plastic left to break
. It has been a fun road to learning about RC vehicles and there is so much more to do looking at the lists that lutach and pimp posted
. Tooling around on here has helped tremendously in the learning process, and there are many things that I hope to try over the next several years working towards totally being retired and having nothing to do but play, play, play, oh yeah & play some more. My wife is totally supportive and loves the fact that she knows where I am and what I am doing all the time. Its all good for me.
