Didn't the brake kit come with the correct hex? Looks good Linc. The mount should do the trick as long as it doesn't allow too much flex. I assume the motor sits on the bottom plate so it should be plenty strong enough. I'm surprised there aren't more mounts like that mount too but mikes revo mount is fairly similar.
