i used the bearrings to hold the spacing after funding out that 2 on the idler shaft and 3 on the outdrive shaft would work well.
so, i will be running a 9XL motor with 12 NmHi cells and the rcm heatsink(i've got a mod 1 pinion as well). |
I did a home grown tranny conversion similar to that busted idlers like peanut brittle (pre steel idler) I got the gorilla conversion and fixed everything (stock idlers held up good with gorilla) I think it flexes too much without the support of the gorilla conversion
