I have to admit, that even after getting help, I still don't "get it", and I'm still 150% LOST with this (BL + LiPo)! Maybe it's from breathing nitro fumes for too long, but all I know is I'm about to sell all my nitro stuff, and I want a BL/LiPo setup, but have no idea what to get other than what people suggested. And it's great that I have suggestions, but I don't know *WHY* I should get these items.
does anyone want to walk me through this? either through email or on the phone? I'm soooo sick of nitro and all the vids look great on youtube, so I''m gonna jump into BL. Disclaimer: I have LOTS of questions, no idea what's going on, I'm slightly anal, and known to be rather annoying  |

I have more expierence with electric, but first you must deciede what type of car/truck/buggy you want to run, what is your budget?
I had been out of the hobby for a few years and I saw an ad for the Traxxas Rustler VXL and I thought "this looks promising" so I ordered one and after a few rebates from Tower and Traxxas I eneded paying about $225 for a RTR and I have never been one to be content with what I have so I trolled around different forums and spent many a late night doing search's and I have learned a lot from this, I upgraded the motor and ESC in my Rustler and now its capable of speeds in the 60-70 mph range, but at that speed all you can do is drag race but it is fun.
I than got the E Revo bug and that is my latest project, depending on how much you want/can spend you can have a pretty nice rig, I have been thinking of selling my Rustler to help recoup some of what I have been dumping in the E Revo. I have seen a lot of the E Revo conversions have been originally bought off Ebay, and if this is your course of action expect to pay $250-350 depending on condition and how much somebody else wants it
