I'm not following. What you do depends on the radio.

At the simplest, use a Y connector off Ch2 (throttle) from the receiver. One side of the Y goes to ESC, the other goes to the brake.

If your radio has channel mixing, put your ESC to CH2 and the brake servo to CH3. No Y connector needed. Then, set the radio for channel mixing (which is basically saying that CH3 will be slaved off whatever CH2 is doing). The advantage to this method is that you have more adjustment options via the radio (EPA, trims, exponentials, etc) for each channel without having to fiddle with the mechanicals.

Either way works though...
