They pack a tremendous punch and are safer. I abused the heck out of my packs and they are getting better. I accidentally shorted one pack and I got lucky, but the pliers didn't. I heard each one can easily put out 280 watts and I got almost 4000 watts out of my 36V pack. Did I say they are safer
