Well, what if you got the system and you are totally enraptured by it's quality? You did not sleep at night and kept working on the MMM and the motor. You put it in your truggy or buggy and your heart pulse has gone sky high with excitement.
Although it's 3 AM, you went out to the street and wanted to give your vehicle a shot.
One pass, another pass....man!!! this thing is SICKKKKKKKK!!!!
On the third pass, the vehicle started cogging like crazy without any prior warning and it suddenly stopped............:(.....you went to the car, took off the body, started inspecting the $300+ system and then.....puffffffff......smoke is out........
Hmmmmmm.....this might happen right? ( well, I hope none of you will face such an incident), but that's still possible...so be careful.
Working as a distributor of electronic components, I have to keep up with all the EMS providers and manufacturers to find out if anything gets recalled. I remember when the company that was doing the PS3 sent out the list of components to be quoted. I got the list and I didn't waste my time to quote it out. A lot of the times when things goes bad with electronics, they blame the person who sold them first. When the PS3 hit the market I know a few units got recalled. That's why I like to wait a few before I buy my things. Some components might be defective from a bad batch of silicon wafer that went undetected. After you all done your testing with the MMM and gives the OK, I'll get one.
