I don't do the research for our company, I just tell the guy's to investigate & they come back with the answers.
They are on the phone to China & Taiwan at least 10-15 times a day & they get really frustrated speaking to them in chinese.
So, how do you manage only via email or do you call as well?
Amax, is another. They will sell you virtually any knock off RC vehicle, then name it & brand it however you like.
You mean this hobby wing? http://www.hobby-wing.com/info.html Hold it, I found the other one, Hobbywing Technologies. Gimme a min.
You only have to look at the product listing on their site to know they're a reseller. They don't make all the stuff they list.

I own a distribution company. I sell electronic components and have been doing it for a while now. Most of my clients and suppliers are from Asia. I know the resellers and manufacturers. Desire-Battery can brand, but I asked them to make custom sized cells and they can do it. Not just branding. I have also contacted a few other lipo manufacturers as well. Amax is a reseller and I know most of the factories in China that do produce the R/Cs they sell. The Hobbywing I mentioned is
www.hobbywing.com and they make ESC. I do most of my work via e-mail as I know the right e-mails to contact them at and they feel better doing things through e-mail as they can use a translator. I've called many times and most of the time I found out they don't speak English. So e-mail is the best if you have the right address. I also deal with the owners of the companies I contact instead of an employee.
