Good evening Jerry,
As always it’s a true pleasure reading your posts.. WWoooowww you have some serious builds going on.. I was totally mistaken.. (My bad).. I do understand your point of view and I’m really looking forward to seeing your builds when they are ready!!.. I think everyone else is too… are you involving your kids in the process?? They might like the fact of learning with DAD!! (just a thought)
Unfortunately the kids have been living in California for about 7 years so my tiem with them has been very limited for teh most part. Their mother has played games with the system for a very long time keeping me from getting the tiem with the kids that I should have had. It was the decision of everyone that aftger losing their mother that spending a little time with their Grandparents until this big move was in the best interest of our kids. It helps them mourn and ease their way into this move. So the kids have seen the R/C collection when it was in its first stages, but they have no idea what has become of it. Yes I hope to get them involed in build projects very soon. I want them to learn from whatever I can share with them until the tiem comes for them to become adults and the leave home on their own. I will also share my woodworking hobby with them as well. I have a lot of shop equipment and nothing is beyond me. I also do all of my own automobile work on our cars, so they will also learn from that. All of this plus a love that we have all been deprived of for a long time.
Thanks for your supportive comentary as always Shaun. These kids have been through a lot of negitivity and it is time for them to have some fun in life, but also realize that there are responsibilities that they have to live up to.
Back to the 808 now. Is it finished yet? When will you have the final pics and videos up on here? We all look forward to seeing them
