It could be because the masses want something somewhat
simple &
reliable.
Not everyone has the time to test,tinker, and build. Albeit, that's a huge part of the fun in this
hobby.
Then again they might wanna feature a truck that's more tried & trued/gonna last than something built to push the envelope.
