Are they just going by the AMP rating on the controller? Racers only race for a few minutes, while some one who is in the hobby just to have fun will probably bash with some friends for hours. Having team drivers test stuff out is good, but it would be good to have somebody that owns various motors do some test as well.

Good point - do we know for sure they didn't test on those other motors?
