I have a brushless Thunder Tiger ST-1 Pro. I've been racing it since mid October last year, plus a decent amount of running up and down the street and on grass.
I can't remember all the things that are different between the RTR and the Pro, but besides the stock body and a set of center diff gears I shimmed wrong I haven't had to replace anything on it yet, so it seems pretty strong to me.
I use a neu 1515 2.5d and 95% of the racing has been done on 5s, with maybe half of the bashing on 6s, so the drivetrain seems pretty decent.

Hand made motor mount and battery trays. Esc mount is the rcm one made for the quark 125.

Ignore the messy wiring and foam hanging off the side.

It's not the latest and greatest racing truggy, but I think it's a pretty competitive car once you do the steering mod (my car has so much steering that I don't use the brakes during races, I just turn the wheels and it will slow down) and find a set up you like. Plus it's cheaper than most of the other cars, and parts are pretty cheap (I buy mine from a main hobbies, but not that I've gotten to use many of them yet

). Overall it seems a bit underrated to me.
~4 months ago Mike told me in an e-mail that he would have a mount ready for the ST-1 in about 2 weeks....so I guess he just got side tracked with all the other stuff he's doing. I'm sure he will end up releasing one if he gets asked about it a bit more, so he knows there are people around who want one.
GO the ST-1!
