Hey PB, it should work fine. The hyoer st has a chassis brace that raises the diff bulks up a bit over the chassis, like 2mm. I have also used the rcm hyper mount on a hyper7, flat on the chassis with a c50 maxx motor, which is the same diameter as the align. So it will work fine for you.
