I need to support the body somehow. I can't drive with it on because it shakes violently in all directions. It's an easy fix but I don't have the parts right now. This project requires my attention once again, since I never really finished it in the first place...

I've never had any problems with traction on my OFNA.
I was able to get it up to 83mph on 8s:
To solve the body flex, I made some body stiffeners from extra lexan I had laying around:
I also removed the rear wing and added large vertical stabilizers:
I havent needed any mechanical brakes, I just use the brakes from the motor:

Hopefully something in my set up will help you out. Have you tried running the car with just motor brakes and not mechanical brakes?
