Well, I have a v1 that is still working. I'm not using it at the moment because I got a v2 replacement for my 1st v1 that failed and I wanted to test the v2. My fan did go out on my v1 but I didn't void the warranty, just removed the fried fan and tie strapped a Novak fan to the top of the case (btw I run it in a 3905 Maxx geared 20/58 and 20/68 at times). Anyway, I was running the v2 the other day and I brought it in to check temps and there was a blade of grass stopping the fan from running. I don't know how long it was in there or how long the fan was actually attempting to run with it like that but as soon as I pulled it out it was aparent that the fan was on. I have run 4 full packs through it since then and the fan and bec are still going strong. I think that after the v1 bec episode that Castle did there howework on the redesigned bec so any problems with the v2 will probably be from user error, the cheap fan going out and causing them to overheat or the fan wires being pinched between the board and case. That's just my 2 cents so don't hold me to it.
