I have been wanting to do the same w/my mbx-5. Since going to BL, the body hits on the batts. and does not sit right...it is a little thing that bothers me.

I have two questions....how do you keep the dirt out from getting under the body, specifically the wheel wells. Is there a reason that you did not have a rear bumper of some kind?

BrianG did a v/nice mod similar to this w/his buggy and it turned out sweet.
