Ok guys maybe I'm missing something here. The more volts get less amps on the speed control, but the motor still spins at the same rpm. Do the more winds produce less resistane and less heat?? Is that why a 10xl on 6S would run cooler than a 7XL on 4S? I thought since they would spin at about the same rpm it really didnt matter which way to go in terms of heat for the motor.

Look forward to hearing how the boat goes. My top speed 2 wont be ready for a couple months but its getting closer. I'm still trying to decide what motor to go with a 1200kv ammo motor or my feigao 10xl.
