A 1950 motor is fine in a revo. I ran one in mine for a long time. That said... A 1940 will be pleny of motor also. I ran a 1940/7 on 5s in my heavy 12+lb Savage geared for 45 mph and it absolutly rocked. I love the lehner motors. If they had any kind of customer service at all I would prefer them to the Neu. They feel more pepy than the Neus but still run very cool. I think they are still every bit as good a the Neu motors.
