I just don't get how you wouldn't run into lipo problems with two separate packs. Even if you packs are only separated by 100 mah from one another, it deosn't take much time for one pack to hit the critical voltage after the cells were able to sustain 3.5 volts under a full load.

I guess it really comes down to whether you are racing or bashing. For racing, quick change batteries come in handy, but it cleans things up and reduces weight to use a single pack.
