If you lack the desire to have a good look at what you are running, and attempt to understand it better that is fine with me. I see the fault in everything and do what I can to improve on it. That is why I posted pics and shared my insight.

Hobby Rule #2... They break. And if you are racing, you better expect to have spares, especially the vulnerable stuff.. In this case, ESC, Servos, Push rods, Pinions, Spurs, drive shafts, etc... Unless you are OK with it breaking at a race and calling it a day. And that would apply to nearly anything you are DEPENDING on to stay working.
Having an esc fail is almost a given. I would rather make sure that it will be failing due to component issues than due to poor wire routing.
If you want to buy a dozen MMMs and have 5 spares go for it. I am sure that CC loves you for that!! I have tons of equipment, and never go without a running r/c. I don't race, or really bash that much. I build stuff. And I mod almost everything. Not everyone is content to run stuff stock out of the box, maybe you are. Either way is fine by me.
That's just Murphy's law. If it can break it will.. Therefor, have extras.
So, empathy.. Yea.. None. It's a hobby...
