I ran the 540C 9L in a buggy on 4s back in the day. That used to be the hot setup before buggies started going toward XL cans or higher quality motors. My 9L would get hot, but typically wouldn't exceed 170 deg. F. More recently that motor was in my CRT.5. For a Feigao motor that is 3 years old, it sure performs well
