The new emaxx tranny uses a 19tooth pinion, the old one uses an 18tooth pinion- the final gear ratio is about the same though due to the different tranny ratios and spur gear sizes- 18/68 is fine.

Bear in mind though that only the front and rear ends can be recycled fomr your old emaxx, since the chassis, braces, and tranny are all different on the new truck, as is the drive line (better diffs, knuckles, driveshafts and different turnbuckles). I think you'd be better served just buying the FLM 3906 chassis, and upgrading to 3905 driveline parts as mentioned, then get the rc4wd.com metal tranny gears to beef up your truck- cheaper in the long run I reckon.
