well good news, i think that the motor is fine. I believe the culprit to be the slipper pads being uneven in width (2 were 2.3 mm while the other one was 2.6 mm, so basically i think that 1 pad was doing most of the work). The other thing i think was the cold weather here, i have been running in 30-40 degree weather and today i noticed a big difference in performance as i continued to run the car and the batteries warmed up. At first it was pretty slow, no wheelies or anything, after about five minutes of power started increasing and eventually it was near full power.
