I don't think thats a good idea.
This leaves the rear (where the chassis is most fragile) unsupported.
Don't know what other people think about this, but I wouldn't do it.

Yes I removed the rear brace, I know its not a good Idea but lets see how it works out. (I will be installing the brace back on once I get an RCM chassis for it)
Yes thats a 3s 4300mah Zippy-K I got it at Hobbycity but they no longer sell them.
Am not shure if the servo mount is 12th scale but i did have to make the holes for the screws larger. Heres a link
