The thing with the DUH towers is that they pretty much are just shorter, the angle of the shocks wont change all that much- not compared to the gorillamaxx towers at any rate (shocks mount further out towards the ends of the arms vs stock type a-arms, and the tower has mounting points closer to the center line of the truck).

I'd say stick with the UE knuckles heads and some ofna/ supermaxx/ 1/8 buggie shocks to be honest- sexier and stronger with better tuning options.

I do remember the maxxtraxx skids- seen 'em on the Bmaxx, one of the BL monsters on the RCnuts website:

And just trim down a stock motor mount to look like Gorillamaxx one, piece of cake and much cheaper
