I was recently looking for a bashing vehicle as well. I wanted something with good ground clearance, tough platform, and easy disassembly for repairs. A truggy is perfect. It can be set up for racing or bashing pretty easily. I decided on an Xray xt8. I'm still trying to get shocks that will allow the ground clearance I want for bashing though.
