Anyways, If you plan to run the truck, cut that hoop off that closely matches the spur gear. If you get a rock caught in there I can pretty much gaurantee that the esc will cook from over current as the motor instantly locks up. That happened to me with a buggy I had with a metal spur on it, and I have always run plastic spurs since. Cheaper to replace a 5 dollar spur than a 150 dollar esc. |
It is suprisingly lite for the total set up which I like a lot, when you add the battery it gets heavy but what do you expect. I really didn't care for the spur cover that was a miscommunication.
