The battery box is long enough that you can set the battery back a little which will give enough room to route the wires. I think the design on the battery box could have been better though. I dremeled mine a bit but it's not necessary to fit the hard case.

I'm sure I could make it work, but if you had the choice, would you choose that style again for this truck?
