Two sides. -

There is two sides to this(good & bad). I have waited for this day for a long time and I am really excited for the whole experience of R/C with my family. I know my boys will benefit in many ways like learning the mechanical & electrical aspects of our hobby, as well as the joys of doing R/C in general. The down side is that they are already expressing excitement of upgrading, and improving in ways that will cost a lot of money. It has been hard enough just to keep my own R/C spending under control. I have literally spent $3K to $5K a year getting my hobby up and running to the level that I am happy with, and actually I could always spend more. Now I have even more to consider with both of our boys involved, and then my wife and daughter want to become a part of things. And of course kids are not patient about anything. They do not understand how much money is involved or how long it takes to acquire the money and finally put hands on the parts that are required/wanted for such improvements. Thank God I am going to be starting back to work soon, because we will need the money. I can only imagine how much this may get into money wise. All in all I know it will all work out for the good. Life is good.
