Please also consider the Tekno conversion. This is the only serious race conversion on the market. We are currently racing at the Nitro Challenge in Arizona and we have TQ'd the electric 1/8th scale class over Losi driver Kevin Gahn who is running the conversion you have.

This was done by Chad Bradley of Team Jammin, with his X2 Tekno converted car. This was the very first time he has ever driven an electric 1/8th, but he still TQ'd the class, because it feels just like the nitro powered car he drives (except much faster accelerating).

Tekno kits utilize the very best quality materials and have designs that are far ahead of what other major manufacturers are currently doing (ie: clutch bell/mechanical brakes as an option - 4mm electric specific chassis - very low CG on all parts - etc.

Good luck with your motor!
Hey Zac - that's great news! I was looking for results online and found this posted on Associated's forum:

1-8 Electric Buggy
1) Chad Bradley (9/7:17.576 R2)
2) Don Vinkemulder (9/7:25.302 R2)
3) Zac Burnside (9/7:34.055 R2)
4) Kevin Gahan (9/7:45.471 R2)
5) Ryan Hughes (9/7:48.069 R2)

Is this just round 2 results or was this the final? In any case - nice to see Tekno represented in the top 3 spots!!! Nice going Zac!

Sorry for the hijack - Hopefully Zac can start a new thread with some more details and maybe some pics and vid. Can't wait to hear how your weekend went.
