I'm just trying to get my terminology correct.

I'm still a little confused on what 2s2p means..
It has nothing to do with how many packs there is right?

It stands for... 2series2parallel, right?

-3- So can the TRX EVX-2 handle the 14.8/16.8v? that a 4s lipo produces?
I'm guessing by the 16.8v sticker on the ESC, it can. (lol)

But 4s 5Ah should be roughly the same weight, or a little less than your 3600mAh NiMHs, which will translate to better runtime right off the bat.
I cant change between Parallel or Series on the TRX EVX-2, so it would have to be 2x packs 2s 5000mAh. Which would give me 4s 5000mAh. Right?

2x 4s 5000mAh would give me 8s 5000mAH (29.2v)
