the Mamba motors do run hot, my fav setup is 3s and around 5000kv...the Neus 1107 are great but priced @ $100 a bit much for a 1/18th scale. The Hyperion motor I have I bought for $50.....my guess with the cheap motor from Hobbycity is it wont last long...but you never know and its only $19
