well the point of the bypass shocks is to provide extra dampening to help slow the rebound down and help with the large jumps while still having a plush and soft suspension. the bypass shocks are supose to have no resistance. its just like a normal shock without a spring. if you are trying to save weight i wouldnt use them unless it bottoms out real bad.
