Not really that great, IMO.
You have to make too many concessions with it.
First you have to run a pair of packs. And all the weight is at the back, not the way I like to set up a truck. And you do kinda have to run a pair of 2s or 3s packs. Only way to run 5s would be a pair of smaller mah packs in parallel, or try to find a decent cell sold in 2s and 3s (hard to find), or have your friendly neighborhood pimp split a 5s pack up for ya. Any way you look at it you have a pair of packs to maintain, more work than a single pack.
Plus on a truggy you can put the esc behind the battery on the tank side, and put the motor behind the servo. Better balance and the weight is farther forward.
And looking at it the lenght of the motor may be limited (no 1527 motors!), I know the buggy has limits, maybe the truggy has more room?
