I am not sure about an emax but when i put some of my projects together i purchased some sets of male/female servo plugs so that i could shorten the servo wires. You could also use these to combine the two servos into the one plug and do away with the y harness. As far as ESC and motor wires it is never a good idea to shorten motor wires so you are stuck for length there. But if you could bring the truck into your LHS with the batteries already mounted they could measure and shorten the ESC power and battery wires to suit when they change plugs.
