Got a run in with the Medusa 36-80-1100 geared UP with a 14t pinion (on the Feigao 580 12L [1051 kv] I ran a 12t pinion), and the Medusa ran quite well! I think my IR temp gun needs its emissivity set because it was only reading 130 but to my hands it felt more like 150-160, and my "man" hands have become pretty good at discerning motor temperature. The HV-110 also stayed under about 120-130 deg, and the Lipos didn't break a sweat.

Next up is to gear the Medusa down two teeth, that should make a huge difference in temps I hope. But with the 14t performance was incredible! Was drifting on the street with Phaltlines...
The temp diff was due to the very low radiativity of shining metal surfaces. you can stick a piece of black tape and try again.
