kyosho inferno gt conversion questions - 06.08.2009, 03:29 PM

hey guys,
i posted in some other threads but i figured i would just start a new thread as i know i will have a few questions throughout this build.

so what is a good, fast setup that can be raced for the inferno gt2?

i am wanting to run the neu 1512 2050kv on 5s 2600mah. is this too fast? i could also go to about a 1700kv with either the Tekin motor or the new Lektron motor.

also, what is the best thing to do for the center diff/spur? is anyone running a 2 speed still? if so, how is this being done? if running a single speed what are people doing for the center diff?

i will be using a Tekno conversion kit to do my conversion and building my own carbon chassis. if i go with single speed i can run a clutch like a want to and mechanical brakes. i am wondering if there is even a way to go 2 speed and have a clutch? it looks like the 2 speed adaptor set on RCM is a pinion gear and not actual clutch. does the the threaded LST2 clutchbell work for this type conversion?

anyway, lots of questions so any input from the experts would be much appreciated. thanks all.
