The 60/40 is fine for 90% of general electronics jobs (r/c included). I have some of the silver bearing solder as well. It does have a higher melting point and so you might need a higher wattage soldering iron/gun. The advantage to the SBS is that it has less resistance than the standard 60/40 and it makes a much stronger joint when it cools- both due to the silver content.
