I did, but figured resistors were cheaper (and safer for me and the dog or cat
). I have some other projects that I can use the extra resistors for, so it's not a total loss even if this doesn't pan out.
But, if anyone needs some 3ohm 50w resistors, I have about 100 I could spare.
