I'd go with the Hobbywing for a more temporary solution and if you plan to need a long term, I'd go with the RX8. The losi is great too... Whichever you pick I'm sure you won't be dissapointed with the losi/RX8. The Hobbywing might have a failure rate similar or greater then the MMM.

Just checked the thread, saw you posted. The overall rate is about 2%, but I see you have a lot of filures at your club. May it be the batteries most people in your club use that cause the failures?

Or maybe just bad luck.
