wow what a stripped down car. nice shocks..... i think the kyosho hit it on the nose for affordability i wouldnt pay more than $400 for that thing as an rtr. whats up with the 550 motor trend too? yeah lets use a car that weighs twice as much with an internal ratio designed for 35000 rpm and put a longer tenth scale motor in it turning close to double that for rpm and wonder why it overheats and has short run times. just my opinion though most of the cars i have raced against had issues like this. not all but those with no problems were running like 2-3s. may work on an indoor 1/10 track but i dont know about the rest of you but i drive an 1/8 scale car not some 1/8 scale car converted to a oversized 1/10 car. i like running WITH the nitros in 15 min races, i like running on huge tracks.

despite all my bs i think that this car is a good option for someone wanting to bash or race a spec(4s max) class for clubracing for cheap. you most likely have two matching 2s lipos
