Isn't that the truth. We all struggle to teach our kids all the good things that we either did or wished that we had done. It's that free will thing that is really tough to deal with, but we all have it. Our parents try to teach us right and wrong, but it is all up to us which way we turn out. Kids today are really even more defiant then we were for the most part, and they are determind to do things their own way. It sounds like you are doing pretty well with your son Harold. Count your blessings, and hope that things keep going in that direction. As long as he lives in a relatively good environment with strong roll models to learn from he should be ok.
