Well, I started to mount the servo saver and decided that since I was already having to disassemble the Maxx partially already, I would go ahead and fill the Powerstrokes and mount them at the same time. Six hours later, I think I've got everything installed and working properly.

The bearings that came as part of the steering servo kit make a huge difference, and the wheels will actually turn when sitting still on the carpet. Mike, I'm really glad you turned me on to this upgrade. I gotta tell you, though, I had to think long and hard before I cut out the standoffs.

As for the Powerstrokes, I was quite surprised at how much bigger they are than the stock shocks. VERY beefy! I can't wait to test it out tomorrow. They seem to be firmer than the stockers even with the dual rate springs, and the action is infinitely smoother.

Next stop -- chassis upgrades! :L:
