im guessing it would not be a good idea to connect a lipo and a ni mh to the esc? lol

and im going to try it myself..i looked on youtube and found alot of tutorials. im gonna take a trip out to walmart to get what i need..my only thing is how do i get the deans connectors off the esc now..just cut them?
